I must have made 100 parachute jumps out of DC-3s. They are very sturdy aircraft and I have seen them land softer on one engine than on 2. I remember more than once having to exit the plane on take off due to engine failures.

It wasn't, that was the harley that was swept away by the japanese tsunami only to turn up on a north american beach. Supposedly the motor company is restoring it as we speak and going to put it on display in their museum.

The Harley that "floated" across after the tsunami floated across in a box container. It arrived in much better shape than that unfortunate machine in the sand. They weren't called Harley Davidstones for nothing. Everyone knows a stone doesn't float.

Hoof that is the same bike. It may have floated over in the container but it was recovered out of the sand next to the broken open container.
