i have came across this bike and i have no idea what it is. It should be an 1981 CB 125 E but I can't seem to find this model anywhere. To me it looks like there are bits and pices scrambled from every direction. Seat and the rear light look like from a 1984 cb125, the chassis looks like it came of a 1978 model, and i cant find the side covers on any Honda bike? It looks like a great small cafe/tracker project, but i wouldn't want to buy something that had all its parts thrown on a pile, mixed and spat out. Please help if anybody has any info what this might be.

Can you point me out to a vin decoder? I will ask the current owner for the VIN number. Thank you.
If you can't pick it back up, don't ride it.
Where are you?
How much is he asking for it?
If you're gonna mod it, why do you care if it's original?
I had came across that vin decoder but it wasnt working with older bikes or european ones. I belive we had the 17 digit law a bit later than in the US.
The bike is in Europe, i have figured out what was that made it different. Its an Italian market version. I have changed the picture to a more representing one. About the asking price i'm not sure yet. If it will be dirt cheap i'll take it, but first I have to have a look at the papers. Its impossible to import bikes here without proper documentation. Mostly I was worried if it was modded that it could have been stolen and then made out of bits and pieces or crashed. But it looks ok.
Can anybody tell me how would a 6 feet 2 inches guy look like on a small bike like that? Is it drivable? I just recently sold a CX500 because i wanted something lighter. I just hope light doesnt mean small as well.
