So I sat down and pulled out my paints and got to work and here's what I got.

It's just paint on my leather jacket.

I carry a gun because I'm too young to die, too old to take an ass whooping, and a cop is too heavy.

Cheesy club jackets aside, that's a hell of a list! Nothing on there is particularly expensive, but this is definitely a real world example of how quickly little crap can add up to make a restoration a rather large investment.
The thing doss look great, though, and I bet it's a hoot to ride!
It ain't easy bein' fat and greasy.

That is what so many people don't think about when taking on a build, all that little stuff add up.
Yes, she is a wild thing. Going for the 100 plus club.

I started a list like that and maintained it for about a year into my project. I gave up on it after changing the parts I could have lived with, but never would have replaced later. That's my excuse anyway.

Nice to see a few British bikes on here.

Thanks Mark, it's sometimes painful looking at the list of parts. I'm just happy I am handy enough to do most of the labor myself, otherwise the price would have tripled.

That has got to be the most high-tech crankcase breather catch can I have ever seen. Very nice indeed.

It is GrandPaul, I just didn't want to us a beer can or a bottle.
I put so much work into the build and did go more to the racing side so I decided to use a racing application for my oil catch.

The Catch tank is equipped with a breather, drain valve and a clear tube on the side to see how much oil is in the tank.
