Im reading this on a small screen so its hard to see the notes. Did they do anything with the transmission ratios?

It seems like this has more or less the whole catalog of honda race parts...
documentation indicates it has the 5 speed trans which is a nice surprise too.

there's mention of a gardner carburetor, which I'm not familiar with.
Additionally, its using honda 350 pistons.

if anyone knows a Roy Seem it seems he was a big figure in this bikes past.

this notebook has a goddamn index:
That notebook is an absolute treasure. Add to it and get it raced lad!!!

I am thrilled that you are happy with the bike.

It does have some really interesting parts on/in it. If you look through the notes they seem to cover a few versions of the bike, or maybe more then one bike.

Did you see the part about the frame mods?

Not 100% sure if that 5 speed is still in the bike or with the spares, that is why I didn't mention it.

Should not take much to get it running.

I was SUPER excited when I bought it, but I realized I was not going to use it as it should be used.
Happy a member here got it and is sharing about it.

Don't think too highly of me though.....I did keep this from the lot for myself....

Going to do something similar to what I did with the Seeley.
Find a stock CB77 and fill in the holes.

Yetman frame appears to have been never assembled past the mock up in the picture.
It is an early frame too, without the updated cross bars.

It looks like the front end in the notebook (Ceriani forks and honda 4LS racing brake) were swapped out at some point. We will eventually find out if the 5 speed is still in there, but I'd wager that it is, given the relative ease of pulling a front fork/brake vs pulling a transmission.

I haven't had a chance to really dig into the frame, but it seems that a lot of the welds were gone over and weak points reinforced. That said, there's not any obvious bracing on the frame. I'll probably add bracing to one of the extra swingarms down the road.

Also, maybe I've never noticed, but when did throttle/clutch/brake cables get so expensive?
I thought that a cafe racer was a custom that you could do whatever you wanted and there is no right or wrong.

I plan to, my goal is to at least get to a race school/weekend next year. Life makes it really really tough though.

I'd love to do the tank/seat/fairing eventually... then again I do have your Bultaco fairing sitting on the CB100 racer that never got finished
