That ZXR1200 is a B-grade UJM masquerading as something "special": I ain't IMHO. The ghastly bolt-up main frame rail turns me right off. 23k?, the guy is trippin' The bodywork looks out of place and hardly fits right.

I don't know what the "H1R replica" is trying to be. It's not a well setup café racer or a real road racer. All that effort, and retaining the horrible flexy old junk OEM frame? I'd rather ride a ratty original drum-brake H-1 or a later KH500 (and have).

People can very impressed by junk these days, it seems.

I don't like Rotax singles much. I built a bike very much like it decades ago. I also built a "supermono" with a KLR650 motor with hot cams, ported head, big carb, etc that was much more rapid than the Rotax one.

    I'd rather have a hotted-up KLR650, SR500 or XT660 motor before a Rotax single anyday.

    Danger, is my business.

You don't see many 125 GP bikes anymore. And the Yamaha TZ were always rare compared to the Honda RS bikes. I know spare parts are scarce these days. Is it impossible to run a Yamaha TZ125 today or can you do it so long as you have deep pockets for all the engine rebuilds?

TZ125s motors were grenades. This one, and most old two stroke GP bikes are a recipe for poverty, madness and chunks of hair pulled on a regular basis. If my memory serves me correctly, they cracked frames and engine mounts as well.

I'd rather have a Honda 125cc GP bike anyday. From the aircooled MTR to the later RSs.

    Danger, is my business.

Thats a hell of a great looking bike IMO. I'd snatch that thing up if I had the cash.

Nice looking TZ. Buddy of mine raced one of those. 95 I think, but could be wrong. Our RS125 was a 90 and tiny little jewel of a bike.

This one was previously listed and had one bid of $5K, I presume the seller put that bid in as a starting point and reserve was never met and no other bids placed. Now it is relisted and has 6 bids and is at $2025, reserve not met.

Who makes that bike? I did some searching and it is an Aermacchi when it was owned by Harley when they were owned by AMF. So there is virtually no Harley involvement other than the sticker on the tank.

I know, they need to step up their branding a little bit.

Talked to the owner. Reserve is $2600. Nice 900F.
