I'm gunna assume that you're not just spamming that link in your sig... The bike's not mine, it's for sale in the UK and is a freaking lovely bike.

    Suzuki GS1000 (2014) Motorbike For Sale | 144939 | MCN

I can't see how it's worth nearly USD40K. But then I know a bike I could go and buy for next to nothing, that would run in the same class. It's probably just as fast, and probably better handling.

I don't know whether that bike has ever run, or ever been raced. It's seems like the guy selling it doesn't really know what he's got. It ain't got 7 spoke wheels for a start.

It may be a well constructed bike, but it sure is not a works bike like Crosby, et al, rode. To cite a TT lap time of a works bikes with pro riders is pure hooey, and doesn't really relate to the actual bike for sale.

It looks like a good bike, but is only a replica and has zero race history. ( as far as I know. )

I'm going to go built a Manx Norton in the barn like Geoff Duke rode at the TT in 1950 and then put the his lap time in the eBay advert.

    "Geoff Duke Norton 92.37 mph " .

    Danger, is my business.

Bit spendy but probably the cafe-racer most web racers really need.

Great looking/running cafe conversion of the Suzuki S-40.

I waited until I had it loaded up into my truck before posting this one...

Been talking to the previous owner all week, and made arrangements to pick the bike up today. $2,300.

I'm beyond ecstatic... Dino, if you're out there... naaa naaa... haha
