what is with the forks that are to long? Mid controls and no mirrors? Plus everything is painted black with what looks like a suede seat? that bike would roast you in the summer time.

    Fixed it for ya.

I found a bike that I have wanted for a long time. Now if only I can convince the wife to let me spend the money...

    1987 honda magna

Edit: he listed as a Magna, when in fact it is a Super Magna

It is a bit much, but an engine and trans rebuild could fix that

Offically it's a Magna, "Super Magna" is a nickname given to the bike by the owners because of how wild the styling was. It really drove home the "muscle bike" dragster attitude of the magna and is considered the pinnacle of 80's muscle bike drag race inspired styling. Those 4 pipes that look like zoomie headers...too fine.

83K is barely broken in on a honda V-four, I've seen plenty of interceptors with that mileage. I am guessing you have never rebuilt a complex japanese motorcycle engine before. The cost of parts of a rebuild alone can be more than the cost of the bike.

I rebuilt the engine on the v45 Magna that I used to have, but the "kit" was given to me with the bike (seals, rings, etc...). Free bike, free parts, no title... I had the help of a friend, ok he did most of the engine work and I drank beer and did the body work. I rode the hell out of the thing on the county roads, but I was never able to get a title for it. Idaho law stated that the last registered owner had to be notified and blah blah blah, its a slow ass process. I didn't care though, it was sitting in a barn on some property my boss had bought like 10 years prior, bike was already there and he just didn't want it taking up space he could use for storing other crap. When I moved back to Montana, I let my friend have it. He tore it apart to make a chopper out of it, he had to move, etc... no idea where the bike is now. Wife says I have to many projects in the shop, I don't have any room for more toys lol. I have to buy her a house before I can add to my bike collection lol

1960 Bensen B8M Gyrocopter - $3000 (Lockport) hide this posting

    image 1 of 8

1960 Bensen B8M Gyrocopter - one of the early ones. Last flown in 1972, was on static display in aviation museum prior to my purchase five years ago. All original and all there except for the wooden pusher prop.

Sturdy aluminum airframe, Lycoming 4-cyl engine, Bensen aluminum rotors, analog flight instruments, stick control, complete set of plans - even the original fiberglass wheel fairings are included.

You won't be able to fly it home and, no, it can't be converted into a swamp buggy, rat rod or drone. Would prefer a sale to an aviation enthusiast with the means to put her in the air again.

Please respond with contact info and best time to call.

    Thanks!

Geeto is right, "Super Magna" was never officially it's name, just a nickname. Honda's lit just referred to is as "Magna."
