"The chain case included was swapped from a older 1000 and has been welded as was the starter." The Italians tending to use parts from everywhere throwing bikes together, but even for them that would be a bit much. Especially on a bike that big.

Ok that makes sense. It would just have thrown up a red flag for me. I must have missed that in the add

I have always been a fan of the naked look. My friends dad has an 80 something GL that I have been trying to buy from him for years. He never rides it, but will not sell it.

This is my old wing. frame is an 81, front end is 82, rear fender is from a 79, front fender from a cb900f.
Progressive springs and shocks, cycle innovations single carb, Valkyrie solo seat, cb750f bars, Mac exhaust.
I'm getting ready to swap my 3rd engine. Bike has well over 200,000 miles, current motor has about 170,000.
Have a motor from a 82 model with only 25,000 on it.
I've owned the bike 13 of the last 17 years. sold it in early 2011 bought it back from the 4th different owner in late 2014.
    I'll never sell it again.

I really like this for some reason. No money for bikes at the moment though.

    1971 Triumph 250cc T25T Motorcycle Trail Blazer Motorcycle - $1000 (Rochester NY)
    image 1 of 24

Up for Sale is a 1971 T25T Triumph 250cc Motorcycle Trail Blazer Motorcycle. Nice restoration bike. I bought it on eBay last summer and just don't have the time to do it. Below is a list off all the issues with it.

Has low engine compression (I was told this by the previous owner) I check and the engine spins over fine and is not locked up, which is a good sign.
Tires hold air, but have lots of cracks in them from being in a barn all these years.
One very slight ding in the gas tank

The Trail Blazer was a 250cc single cylinder unit model T25T (Trail), mainly built for the USA.
    Configuration: OHV single unit
    Capacity: 247cc
    Bore x Stroke: 67mm x 70mm
    Compression: 10:1
    Transmission: Manual
    Gears: 4
    Cycle Parts:
    Front Wheel: 20 in trials
    Rear Wheel: 18 in trials
    Front Suspension: Telescopic forks
    Rear Suspension: Twin shock
    Front Brakes: 6 in drum
    Rear Brakes: 7 in drum

No way is this a good deal, but it's pretty cool to see. I like the jewel in the side cover emblem.

I saw another super clean looking zephyr 1100 a couple months ago. Owners of this bike seem to take care of them, in general. But not very common here.
