i found these on ebay: Original Universal Cafe Racer Seat Black Bobber Chopper Ducati BMW Triumph | eBay

I really like the look of these seats, the measurements are spot on for my BMW K100 and the seller and perfect feedback, should be able to get one delivered for roughly $200 AUD. Anyone purchased one of these before? any advice?

    thanks guys

It looks too flat, too thin and the sides are not well-padded or rounded enough for any kind of comfort after 15 minutes of riding. The rear part is not well shaped to keep a passengers butt there under heavy acceleration or braking. Seams that sit on the inside of your leg are uncomfortable. I doubt the seams are sealed to keep water out, and that means you ride on half-wet sponge that never dries out, so you have a wet butt every time you get on the bike.

Buy a gel motorcycle seat pad kit and make your own comfortable seat, even if you have to get a auto trim shop to make a cover for it and glue it onto a homemade alloy sheet seat base.

there's plenty of dudes in melbourne who'll sew up a cover for you. then you can keep the stock seat base and save hours of time working out (in)secure methods of attaching a seat.

Moto Guzzi sell accessory seats for the V7. Lower ones and gel ones. If you could match it to your BMW subframe it could be a good seat that works, fits and is comfortable. If it doesn't work out just eBay the thing to another fashion tragic.

They list them as accessories on Moto Guzzi websites.

Stay local. For what you would pay in shipping, better off getting it custom made
