... I think 750 Pasos aren't worth the hassle unless you really want a 750 Paso. If you just want a low end Ducati, save your money and buy a mid 90s 900ss for about $3500 or less.

Finding tires for a 750 Paso can be a real hassle, and good luck finding mirrors if they get broken/stolen.

That's not a great picture, but something's not right with the fairings on it either.

On the plus side, it does have the euro tail light...

EDIT: And just so no one thinks I'm anti-Paso, I bought a 907 in 1991 and still own it... I'm just sayin... the only good reason to buy a 750 Paso is if you specifically want a 750 Paso, as everyday bikes go there are a lot better Ducatis out there.

I would get it if you want to do some work to it. It needs paint and I would change the wheels to 17's, cause I am that way. I would get it.

If you like it , grab it . 1800$ for a Duc in decent shape can be nothing but a good thing .

Why do they call a ram in the ass a goose?

Love the plastic cocoon bodywork. My girlfriend typed over my shoulder just now that it made her cry....

Both may be true but one has nothing to do with the other...

I don't know exactly why the original poster is interested, but if it's simply because of the name on the tank and the low price, I don't see it ending well. I'd want to know exactly what the ad writer means by "needs valve job". I can tell you it needs more than that. They all do.

This is the type of deal you need to go into with your eyes wide open. It's not a Honda, there aren't three different models built over ten years that use similar parts. The Paso is sort of similar to the 750 Sport, that's about it. 750 Sport owners hang out on Paso forums because they're even more rare. There are parts on this bike you basically can't buy anymore so you buy something close and make it work. It will never be worth much. Good luck finding someone to work on it if you don't want to do it yourself, your local Duc dealer most likely wants nothing to do with it and couldn't order parts for it even if they did let it in the door.

But hey, If you are truly smitten with the bike, check out http://ducatipaso.org/ for more info. Then go find a Paso that doesn't need a valve job, pay $2500 for it and have fun.

not going to get it. scared off by "valve job" that would end up being "motor replaced". I think it looks ridiculous, thats why i thought about it. Very distinct looking bike.
