I'm 6'0" 150lbs, Girl is 5'4" 140lbs, and she & I ride my cb360 around town. Haven't had it on the highway 2-up yet, but I have ridden on the expressway with it for short distances. Small light bikes like that are very twitchy at that kind of speed (catboy has had this bike up to an indicated 85mph). It's a very peppy fun bike solo, but a full size passenger slows it down noticeably, but it can still get out of it's own way. Long distance sport tourer it is not. If you don't plan to do a lot of highway miles, cb350 or cb360 would do ok. Just make sure you know what you're getting in advance - small lightweight commuter, not a ton of power, and not a freeway cruiser. As for under $500 runner... Good luck. I see cb360s on eBay in almost new condition (sub 5,000mi) often, but they seem to go for around $1,200. I think you'll prolly do much better if you can at least get your budget up to $750.

... but I am not looking for a runner.

Thanks for the tips though. Most of our riding will be country back roads. No major highway stuff.

Both near me. Good price on the gold 350. The 360 has been listed on eBay several times before, but price seems good.

No paperwork, which can be troublesome:
