    final 250gp race (modern)

my heart breaks. i understand the marketing math. but it just doesn't seem right that sunday's race in valencia will mark the end. they could have gone to a 4 stroke supercharged 250 class or something exotic for the "future". what's it going to be next year...600cc four-bangers? kinda lame, but who asked me? oh well...

Well, that's what you get when one manufacturer makes 99% of the bikes on the grid and doles out the good parts to only a few teams. Damn shame. At least the 125s will be around for a while longer.

It is sad indeed. Slowly but surely GP racing is going down the drain. Like so many forms of racing it is becoming a spec class. All that is left is personalities. Sort of a MotoWWE. To think GPs are reduced for 6 classes (50, 125,250,350,500, and sidecar) to a few spec classes is heartbreaking. Dorna wasn't bought out by DMG by any chance?
Don\'t cry because its over. Smile because it happened
