Geet,
Do you mean Asheville? If so there's the Biltmore (Vanderbilt) house:

And Barley's tap room is good:

Asheville is roughly 4 hours drive from Nashville TN and 4 hours drive from Greensboro, NC (my two reference points). I've been there several times but usually at Christmas to see the Vanderbilt house and have lunch/dinner.

So fly, rent something sporty at the airport, then get "lost" on a nice drive in the countryside to see the mountains......

Unc is from Asheville and there exists an interesting motorcycle base. Lots of great roads.
My shop is closer to Asheville than Nashville is, but, it takes me a bit more than four hours to drive there, seems like anyhow.
Depending on when, I'll likely be in Lex, Baltimore or Panama. I'm not in Tn very often these days. Who knows, maybe I'll open a shop in Asheville. Today, I am in Lex, left DC yesterday and have been all over that area for the last week.
Just holla whenever you're in the area.

For all intents and purposes, Deal's Gap is closed until the middle / end of summer; landslides have been happening like crazy because of too much rain. When all that moisture freezes, it's like a huge crowbar prying everything apart. Anyway, 129 is shut down.
Still- plenty of great riding all over the place, and you only need to go about 5 or 10 minutes to get into nice road action because Asheville is right in the mountains. It's boring, but the Blue Ridge Parkway goes right through town (some people like it...)
I think Acme motorcycles may be renting used bikes, too.

LOOK OUT IT\'S COMING THIS WAY!
