    also, the odometer clearly reads +4 digits...he should have AT LEAST ran it backwards in his dad's garage for a couple of hours to get back to 000000 !

    Fucking joke. The Bay Area is full of people with too much money and not enough knowledge of what they are buying. I'll bet you that bike gets snapped up within a month and not far away from that price.

    Well, let's really look at this for a second.
    Let's assume the bike is every inch as good as he says it is (which they rarely are)

    The cost of restoring a jap bike if you do not do any of the major work yourself, like paint or engine rebuilding, would not be cheaper than say a norton or pre unit triumph. Assume $1K-1500 for show quality paint on every surface, $300 for all the brakes, replacement parts, etc it can add up.

    Point is if you wanted the most perfect honda it could easily cost you $6000.
