    yamaha?

saw a yamaha today, it was orange and looked like shit. Couldnt place the model so i figured i would post up some of the obvious things that stuck out so maybe someone would know what it was. Had no springs, chorme front end looked stock, had old shcool dirt bike bars on it, no speed, just a tach that went to about 7000-9000 rpms, regular seat with a metal rack that sat directly behind it, and i wanna say that on the battery cover portion it said torque-matic or torque something on it. Anyway, guy found it in a garage when he bought the house and didnt have a clue what it was, so i figured one of you old shcool guys might know. Also, looked like it had dirt bike tires on spoke wheels, and had front fender.

Well, if it had a front fender, it's got to be a motorcycle...of some kind. Regular seat, eh? Only one Yamaha ever had a regular seat. I think it was called Normal Motorcycle. It probably said torque induction, and that is the only useful piece of information in the whole garbage...and not enough to go on, duder.

gods honest, no joke im telling you i could not figure out what it was and the owner didnt even know what fork seals were(they had been replaced), also asked if it had compression and he said the key turns over but it doesnt it start. Now i know that im no fucking genius by any means when it comes to older bikes, but i could not figure out for the life of me what it was. No title, been sitting for years, or centuries, who knows, but if anyone know of torque-matic on yamaha, thats my best geuss to track down the age before i buy this hunk of metal

Congratulations! You are the first winner of the Caferacer.net camera phone giveaway. I can't remember what make this camera phone is or if it works, but it is orange and says camera on it so you are probably good to go. Send me your address and it is yours!
