    Getting excited.

The XS650 is so close. New stainless brake lines from pampadori (http://slingshot-cycles.com) are installed and bled, wiring is all hooked up (and fixed), lights installed, gauges, exhaust. Everything is adjusted except for the rear brake. All I'm waiting on now is my headlight brackets.

Coreyjdl of http://lloydvintage.com was kind enough to special order some 34mm Tommaselli mounts from Europe...and I hear they're close...so close.

Can't wait to fire this thing up. It's been about six months of riding nothing or the baby motorcycle (YG-1). It's about time for this beastie to rumble.

They are indeed. I stole them off a Raleigh comfort bike. They're shorter than standard superbike bars, any shorter and they wouldn't fit everything on them.
