Went up to spectate Sunday, friend of a friend was racing his homebuilt tube framed contraption in the Climb to the Clouds. Its basically a bunch of parts bin Audi awd parts in a light chassis, with a big-ass turbo pumping 30psi through it. He had some problems with the shifter on his first run, but ended up getting 3rd overall on his second run.

Some times things come around that are so singularly inept it gives you a whole new appreciation for the ept
Just riding up that thing is a nerve-shattering experience. I can't imagine racing up it. Do they go all the way to the top?
No bikes, and yes, if the weather cooperates, they go all the way up.
Super Chicken's run up. Check out the fog at the top...
