Arces I think made the top clamp. Either way they are the same company.

If I were you jack, I would sell some other project you have and rebuild this instead. Victors are fun bikes and I am sure it will be worth more than whatever Honda project is occupying your time at the moment. Build it as a street going flat tracker, redwing shocks and all. Keep the stock bodywork.

    Geeto,

I would love to redo the Victor, but I could see an easy grand going into it even before we get into the motor. I haven't become attached to it yet, so it is easy to sell. Can't say that about any of the others I have. Have been thinking of selling either the Ducati 160 or the Aermacchi 250 or even one of the Honda 160's, but they are like your kids, which one do you give up??

It's on CL now, we'll see how it goes.

Jack, sent PM. E-mail me back, and I'll pass your info on to someone who may have some info. I have a friend's dad who's had a really nice Victor for 20+ years. No promises, but could be worth your time.

Victor is sold. I should have asked more on CL. I have to be sure not to look at it until the guy comes and collects it or I will want to back out of the deal.
