Wouldn't the faring get in the way of your knees when you pedal? Kinda cool, but, I gotta ask, why???

Why a fairing? Umm, for aerodynamics. I can tell you from experience the difference from me sitting up and tucking in on my 80cc fun machine is good for 3-5mph, which is a lot when top speed is about 50mph.

A fairing on a ped/scoot is a GREAT idea, in my opinion.

    I know a Hercules Ultra.
Do you actually know where to find one???????

    Does it look like this???:

I've been wanting one of those ever since I left Germany in '79. That's a LLLLONG time to be wishing for a bike!!

I remember the boys who rode those could keep up with my RD350 until I got past 100kph (62 mph). The European bikes were always far tricker than anything sold in the US. I think the Ultra was a German model only, but I'm not sure. I know they were fairly spendy back in the day, relative to full size bikes.

PLEASE let me know if you know where to find one like that!

Of course I know its for aerodynamics....My "why?" question was not about the faring but the whole thing in general. Seems like a lot of trouble to go 50mph on a moped. But like I said, kinda cool.
