    1989 Yamaha FZR600

Found this bike. It must have just been listed, hardly any views, auction style with a “buy it now” of 1250 dollars. I was about to hit the “buy it now”, and no joke the timer went off on something I was cooking. Took care of that, want back to the listing a boom the “buy it now” option was gone. I was pissed at first, but then I said maybe he just made a mistake or maybe he would have had sellers remorse knowing that someone hit the "Buy it now" only after a couple of minutes of the auction open and renege on the deal. Anyway it’s a nice bike and for 1250 it would have been a steal.

Listen am not going to lie, that little binge you and jag went on has got me in the buying mood. The YZF is excellent, and am enjoying it. I don’t have the time, knowledge or money to build a race bike out of, for example a CB750 the proper way. The engineers at Yamaha in this case have done it for me, and not only that, its better then I could have ever accomplished on my own. Let’s set something up before the winter sets in, go for a blast and maybe check out your hoard.

    Geet, take a look.

I owned a 1994 FZR600. I liked it and really if it were me and I wanted another FZR600 I would buy a 1993+ they look the same but the swingarm is better and there are a few other tweaks. I have a line on another 1994 at a friends house - has 1200 miles but has been stored outdoor under a cover for at least 3 years now.

Jag and I are having a friday wrench session, you are welcome to drop by Queens and hang out.
