    Anyone know any good blogs for learning, getting ideas, and just plain eye candy?

    bike exif is about as good as you are gonna get for eye candy. Vintagent is not terrible either.

    IMHO anybody who knows how to make a blog doesn't really know what makes a good bike or a bad one - the internet is a mostly visual media so they are gonna fill the slot with as much pretty trendy crap as they can and you'll get very little lip service toward what makes a good motorcycle.

    The best place for inspiration is amazon, abe books, ebay, and old book stores where you can buy long out of print books about motorcycle racing in the 1960's-1980's. this is a good place to start:
