Never seen Tex that quiet for so long.

Tex got that fast changing from his male stripper days.

Have to agree with Judey, but maybe Texy is taking mime lessons or something. Or his contract allows walk ons, but no speaking rolls??

30 degree temps for how long and at what speeds and with what underneath?

My best time is 28 seconds.

Let's say with jeans underneath, at 50-60mph, for 30 minutes with some stops.

You should be ok. These are water resistant pants. They have a full Hydratex wind waterproof liner in them, but we make the "water resistant" disclaimer as the full length zippers (YKK coil type) on the sides are only protected with a storm flap, so that would be the only vulnerable area. Wind liner will help you in the commute, but a pair of thermal underwear under your jeans will get you the rest of the way. Hope this info helps.
