Detroit Autorama! Great time some pics.

If you didn't make it to Detroit for the Autorama it was a great time. Our booth turned out to be none stop action all weekend. Even the Harley guy's stopped which was pretty darn cool. 2 people asked what yr our Ducati was.. LOL. I told them I would take that as a complement. I was a bit surprised since it's a car show and all at how much interest the bike brought. My business partner and his company won the Don Ridler award so that was pretty damn cool too. Just a few pics if you missed it. That's me holding the Ridler Check.

Before anyone mentions it I know Stator was spelled wrong. I didn't use the sign. These were made a day before we left and I couldn't fix it.

Really nice shot of our headlight. That lens is cut and polished from Acrylic. Just like your new cars.

Ever wondered what 1105 hp 930 ft lbs of torque and Twin Turbo's looked liked?

So Cal Speed Shop always turns out some amazing work.

The ridler award is a big deal. Your friend should be very proud. He's a young guy too looks like - I know guys in their 70s who chased the ridler all their lives.

Ya the Ridler is a very big deal! We were all super excited they won.
This is actually the second time he has won. The first time was in 2000 with Paul Atkins, Speed Star Coupe. He was 25yrs old. I think he was the youngest to have ever won the award back then. Anyhow it was a lot of fun. That was not my check. I didn't do shit to that car just looked at it a lot over the past 2 yrs in his shop.
