    HEY!

    i went and checked out a 74 RD350 that's been recently restored and is in awesome shape. the guy lives right around the corner and needs to sell asap. what do you think. the frame is emmaculate and the motor is clean, clean, clean. he's throwing in a bunch of parts and even has the original body panels in bags. the bikes already cafed and registered. what do you think? should i go for it? im driving it tomorrow. i'll post how it rides. thanks fellas....

    I had a 74 RD350 when i lived in El Paso that was one bad little bike. Tz chambers dual front disks koni shocks black tracey seat section I pre mixed Klotz would haul butt down the street and turn around so i could smell the exhaust love that
    If the price is right i say go for it 2 strokes are simple and can put the hurt on bikes twice their displacment at least for a few blocks

    just over 2k. its in awesome condition and newly restored(last summer). he's moving and is willing to take a lower offer than what he posted. he was asking 3k for it. anyway...thanks guys. i'll let you know how this goes.

    GOT IT. guy gave me a bunch of stuff for it too. shock/head tool, bike stand, all receits, haynes manual, box of mikuni jets, fuel tank(for pre-mix) extra wiring harness, extra speedo, extra tach, extra speedo/tach cable, points/condenser(two sets), new flasher, extra foam for glass seat, closed face snell90 helmet, plugs, 2stroke oil, extra fork seals, fork oil, gear oil, original body panels, mikuni tuning manual, parts catelogue and thats about it. it boggs a little at higher rpm but thats only due to jetting too rich. this thing flies! a little rough at idle(again from jets) but way fun to ride. now whos down for a ride up PCH? i'll get some pics up tomorrow. later all.

    congrads dude...rd350 giant killer is a badass little pocket rocket. When I had my friend's rd400 in New Orleans I surprised a lot of 600cc sport bikes with her in the powerband. fast little fucker. post pics when you can.

    Nice score, congrats. As you probably know, don't take any chances with somebody else's helmet, besides the fact that Snell 90 dates it even if it hasn't been crashed, I'd bin it.
    But the rest is all good, don't know much about the jetting but I'd learn if I were you...

    alright guys. i've got some crude pics i took last night in my garage. these will do for now. i rode her to class this morning and loved it. the carbs need adjusting. i did however manage to find a guy who's local that specializes in rd's and banchees. said he can get the carbs dialed in in no time. anyway...here she is.









    here's one of my vespa too.



    anyway...later all. i still can't belive i've got my cafe now. right on.
