I'm curious as to why you will get killed there. Is there a guy hiding in the bushes with an AK-47?

one of the rare times a municipality will rely on motorists to use common sense....I wonder how many times that has failed.

Took me a little while to figure out, if two vehicle just happen to be coming 'towards you', neither has a stop sign
If one happened to be a bike, it wouldn't be a good thing

In Finland "equal" crossings are common. You always yield to the one the right to you. I do prefer more signs and esp. in the city I am now overly cautious as there are a lot of places where you have no stop or yield sign but vehicles can jump in front of you.
