To buy or not to buy....

Yep, I came across a 1983 Norton Interpol 2. It is an ex police bike of course and it is in showroom original condition with all service history. It is quite pricey at roughly 5000 dollars but it is the only pne I have seen in Cyprus, in fact, it is the only one I have seen period. I have searched over the good ol internet but as always apart from the usual specs there are no real opinions on these. Any recommendations here?

Contacted a shop in the UK that specialises in Nortons and are willing to mail any parts I may need. They have pretty much anything that I may need. With that in mind, how about those recommendations?

I've only ever seen one - jamie has it at spannerland along with a rotary race bike. It's a neat piece of kit and you won't see yourself coming. If it were me I would be all over it, but I am a norton fanboy.

If you unusual machines and can get one of those for $5000 in running condition, take it and run like hell.

Yah, I'm not sure why your wouldn't buy this for 5 grand when a good condition, say, r75/5 is like, the same price.
