    First look Honda Grom

I was at Charlie Perethian's shop today to pick up a race stand for my bike so I can start mounting the full fairing. He had a new Grom on the shop floor. He has a standing offer on his website to give you a free windshield on your bike if it is one he doesn't already make. Guy drove down from Tennessee to drop off his new Grom for a windshield because he is like 6'2" and can't get the bike over 55mph. I sat on it and it feels slightly bigger than a mini bike/scooter. Bike is made in Thailand and the exhaust pipe is a whole 3/4" diameter

I carry a gun because I'm too young to die, too old to take an ass whooping, and a cop is too heavy.

    Weird little thing...

It's like a Machiavellian 4-volume trilogy based on Hamlet senza misura with an ego-maniacal downs syndrome kid reading from a Rube Goldeberg-esque kindle.

Rear fender delete would happen about 10 minutes after I took possession of one. Big, ugly, gaudy looking thing sicks out like a sore thumb.

Arron, Doug and the rest of the posse that runs this place also own the Grom forum http://www.hondagrom.net/forums/forum.php

There is some pretty cool stuff there. And because the little Grom is newish, it was not fingered in Geeto's last book!

i covet those forks for my s90 now. even if it meant machining a hub for the wire wheel from bar stock.
    Bike:
    Buell X1
    Honda S90 (box of parts)
    Honda CB750C (runs)
    The Others (mostly rolling wounded)

My collar may be a little frayed, and maybe I need a shoeshine. But nobody\'s got a mortgage on my soul. I own it. Free and clear. -Phil Lovecraft
