Put on some alloy wheels, a glass tank and fenders, a couple of Kehin 24mm carbs off a SL350 K1, some real rear shocks, some 15-20wt oil in the fork, a 305 superhawk front brake....and you'll be amazed what you can do with that bike.

Thanks for the nice comments, I'm chasing a problem now .it breaks up and doesn't want to rev higher than 7,000.I swear it revved to 9,500 after I first got it running( outta the barn) .changed plugs and caps today(that didn't cure it.)(could the points be bouncing?old plugs showed brown/ tan so I don't think its all that lean.Maybe my advancer is sticking. Any ideas? you guys know these e small bore twins...

    Ace,
In stock form they should rev clean to about 10,000+. If they don't is almost always the usual culprits...condensor, coil, plugs or carbs. Some dirt could have come loose and plugged up something in the carbs.
Typically...as a matter of course you should replace the points and condensor...they are "consumable" items that need routine replacement. While you are at it pull of the advancer and clean it up and oil it.
And of course typical barn bikes have all kinds of garbage in the tank, petcocks and carbs that will need to be cleaned out.

Those bikes make most of their power at 7000+ rpm...so you want it run good up there.
Check out my site here: http://www.jrbranson.com/HondaRacer/mainpage.htm
for some ideas of what you can do with the bike.
