    huh? never knew that.

no no im not wound up at all, i just couldnt stop myself from being cheesy with the family guy reference on a motorcycle website. plus all the replies from craigslist ads in my phone start with "yah i still have her" or "she runs great" and when i hear those words i dont really believe that the person spouting them out has any clue what there talking about. just from my experience.

    and geeto with the zinger!

I have to agree with that. A lot of people love to refer to their vehicles as a female.... or even worse give it a pretty female name.
What happens when you wreck it ? Loll

from now when i refer to one of my bikes, ill use bitch, as in "the bitch runs great", "got new shocks for the bitch" , "wrecked the bitch" etc.
I like my shocks like I like my women. Cheap and Chinese.

I hate it too by the way. But then again I do it all the time.

I kinda throw up a little in my mouth when people name their "project" bikes. Like Bonita Applebom, etc…..

Having said that I unofficially named my Intruder Rosie….as in AC/DC Whole Lotta Rosie……(ain't exactly pretty, ain't exactly small)

It came about when I was on a 2 week bike tour - had a lot of time to think and talk to the bike…..

"a bike takes ALMOST as much effort to keep as a girlfriend"

I bought a DR350 and lost the girlfriend because of it. Generally.
DR350 is easier to deal with, but the girlfriend was more funner to wash when dirty after a hard days riding.

I've never personified my machines, save for The Wizard(CB450).
