The 34th Carole Nash International Classic MotorCycle Show

For any UK enthusiasts that arent already aware of this, the show is next weekend. Great event to get to and plenty of stalls and exhibits to drool over. Ive copied the show particulars and pasted them below.

MOTORSPORT legend John Surtees is set to be the star attraction at this year’s 34th Carole Nash International Classic MotorCycle Show as the event continues its tradition as one of the biggest classic motorcycling weekends in the world.

Traders, dealers, manufacturers, clubs, private entries and a massive autojumble will fill the halls of Staffordshire County Showground on April 26-27 and more than 30,000 enthusiasts are expected to attend.

Surtees, the show’s guest of honour, will be on stage throughout the weekend talking about an incredible career, and both the MV Agusta and Ferrari that took him to two- and four-wheeled world championship glory will be on display.

TV personality and former TT winner Steve Plater is another big name new this year, taking over the reins from the retiring Dave Craggs as show compere and commentator.

I've fancied going to the Stafford Show for a while now, bot never seem to get around to it.
I manage to get to the Copdock and Battlebridge Shows occasionally, but I'd prefer to go to Stafford.
    Are you going.

Yeah, its only an hour and half drive for me so Im going. Ive got a list as long as your arm for nuts, bolts, washers, screws whatduyacallits and thingymagigs to pick up from trade stands. I dont get to too many shows, but this is a particularly good one. Triton owners club will have a stand there too, so it will be nice to have a look at what they have (Im not a member).

It's about 4 hours south from me and I've been going for the last 3 years, Beats the NEC thing hands down. It's like a motorcycle village fete for old twats.

Actually, I go to both events, twice a year and this is the first and supposedly more aimed at british iron and the one later in the year is jap stuff. I can't tell the difference to be honest, either way jap stuff seems to trump it.
Great place to go to btw as it's only 30 mins drive from Birmingham which is a brilliant night out afterwards.
