The Icon helmets I've owned have all been nicely made and comfortable. This one looks nice but I think I'd like it better if it was a bright yellow color with the dotted lines and stats in black or gray.

Brent, the great thing about Icon helmets is they are overproduced and usually deeply discounted at end of season. My wife's icon I bought for $35 cost clearance in our suppliers gear catalog after it had come down from last years price of $250. In case you wanted to know the markup on helmets is usually 100%.

I wear an Icon now and like it but to get a real sticker shock checkout the new Aria helmets... I like to get one but I don't have the 800 dollars...

It would have been nice to explain some of the numbers. Why is it more likely to take an impact on the right side and not the left at the chin but more likely to take impact slightly above the chin on the left? I'm not believing any of those numbers without some explanation.

I love my Aria Vector 2 especially since it was the best fitting helmet I could find. Its also reasonably quiet and does not steam up too bad in marginal weather. The vents in the visor are almost impossible to open and it feels as if you are going to break them off with the force it takes but the vents in the body of the helmet are easy to access while on the road and do push reasonable volumes of air through while rolling on hot days. Forget what i paid but its a solid color and was on sale think it was undoe $300 at the time

Again, none of those numbers mean a damn thing. Impact from what? I would say most impacts on motorcycle helmets is from them falling off the bike and would most likely land top down, but those numbers suggest that is the least likely place of impact. The 19.4% is totally out of line with the rest of the numbers on the helmet. It's all BS.
