    Well favors pay off sometimes.

Free. With new crank, piston, barrels and a bunch.

MX described the 84' as, "the worst year and the most dangerous motorcycle ever made."

I'm hooked. Super single here we come.

This and the Hawk (hey Jim!!) are going to be a good couple.

    That's like, your opinion, man.

I remember an article in a magazine I used to get that compared riding the CR500 to playing with a loaded gun.

    Have fun, and be careful!

Because the brakes, suspension and chassis SUCKED!! And the motor either had the front tire pointed at the sky, or the back wheel trying to pass the front (up the inside, around the outside, or just right through it)....or both concurrently!

Stupid amounts of torque for a short wheelbase bike where you're sitting way behind the center of gravity. "Blipping" the throttle in gear will stand the bike up with zero effort.

Ross, Just a word of advice about NYC dirt bikes - 90% of them were stolen at one point in their life.

how about you actually get on the track with one bike before you go building a second race bike?
