    CB750 Wheel Seal Retainer

In a discussion at SOHC4 and one guy recommended lactating (that's what Spellcheck corrected LocTite to) the seal retainer before staking it. To me this seems like overkill and totally unnecessary and more aggravation than anything it could solve. Any opinions on that?

I carry a gun because I'm too young to die, too old to take an ass whooping, and a cop is too heavy.

The whole idea of staking it is so you can drill them out and remove the retainer in the future. You may need to replace the bearing one day. You're screwed if you loctite it.

    Loctite is over used often.
this does not sound like an application to use it.
