Working at a bike shop, especially HD, pretty much sucks. HD is open 7 days a week so say goodbye to weekend rides and the likelihood of having two days off in a row.
I did it for 7 years, 5 as salesman and 2 in finance. Not for HD though, I had an opportunity to go to work for a HD dealer but the hours were 10 to 7 and you had to be available
to work every other Sunday. Told them thanks but no thanks.

Spent the day cleaning the fuckin' track dirt and removing broken plastics from the left side of the bike.

Should've stuck with the "slow" bike.

Size: 740.9 KBly settled on a coil location for"the african twin honda never built" AKA "acetylene and hammerton"
binned version one of throttle cables i had used heavier gauge housing and wire
    it just felt wrong
it was likely the bend cable must do coming out the top
so i machined/modified some throttle end housing elbows to fit the top cap brass adjuster on these sand cast carbs
i like using them they are slick plastic lined
    used lighter gauge hous/wire
made new delrin piston for cable splitter
finalised coil locations, amazingly float bowl drops right out
coils will be tied together on front mounts and probably tie in at upper engine mount for shorg ridgid support

    pamco came in yesterday

Heading home after 694 miles of riding yesterday. #Smackdab17

This is about 1/3rd of the finishers. 85 bikes made the ride.

i'm servicing an eldorado. very cool as was black one that came from the usa a few years ago. arrived here fresh from the shipping crate as an alleged runner, didn't due to no point gap. then the rusted out tank started leaking. and it had those horrid cheap progressive shocks on it, man they're crap.
