Not as bad as I thought. Just checked.... the satellites and my transducer/temp sender are saying surface temp around 50c. Still a little cool, so also waiting for a new hood. Not only will it help prevent losing all my core heat through my melon , it will help keep the brain eating amoebas out of my ears.

Or were you referring to something else?

So i stopped by the vet on my way home from work to pick up some daisaquin (joint supplement) for my dog. While I'm waiting, an old guy decked out in harley davidson clothes walks out of one of the rooms and looks out at my Z1 in the parking lot and says "I didn't know they were still importing suzukis"

    jesus christ grandpa.

Finally got tired of standing around waiting for the compressor to catch up. Found this on Craigslist. 3 cylinder 18.5 CFM @ 100 PSI . $400 plus he threw in a dryer, 50 hose reel, and an air powered 12 Ton jack. Hopefully it lasts... filled the tank fairly quickly. Now going to make a condenser to go in between the tank and dryer. Also need to add an electric fan, because it’s shoved into a corner. It was like figuring out a rubrics cube making room and wiggling it across the shop.

i installed some air lines overhead in my last garage. It was nice having air in a couple places.

With my other compressor, the amount of water coming out the line was a bit much. Air sander would stall from ice buildup etc. I added an air dryer, but only used it when powder coating etc, otherwise figured the desiccant wouldn’t last a day....So for the new setup I wanted to add a water trap/condenser of some sort, plus according to the instructions with the dryer, it’s supposed to be mounted 25 ft from the compressor so heat doesn’t destroy the desiccant and send bits of crap through the air lines. The air dryer that came with the new compressor was sadly neglected missing a spacer and had what I think is the wrong size desiccant. I need to run a couple more air lines, what did you use? It has to be overhead, in order to get around a door.

Yes... always wanted the 3 cylinder version, still single stage, but should do the job, especially if run in tandem with the old one. It’s portable, so don’t really want to get rid of it yet.

    Thought you might recognize it...
What size line do you run to your pressure pot? Currently everything I have is using 1/4” connectors, but wondering if 3/8 might work better for my POS bench top blasting cabinet. Also thinking about building/buying one of those pots to run in the tin garden shed... just to clean up some of the larger lumps. Any advice?
