Craig Vetter Seriously Injured in Crash with Deer

I carry a gun because I'm too young to die, too old to take an ass whooping, and a cop is too heavy.

Sorry to hear that. That's a lot of hurt from a slow speed crash. And another endorsement for full face helmets. I wish him a speedy recovery.

X's2 on the full face helmet. Was a lot of injury for a streamliner bike and a slow speed deer encounter.
Apparently none of the injuries are life threatening and he is expected to recover.

That C2 vertebrate is a very critical area, respatory system can be compromised if the spine is injured.

That's horrible news. To me any accident is horrible news but to an inspiration, legend and pioneer in our hobby is truly shocking and eye opening..........like it can happen to anyone at anytime for any reason.

I have owned and purchased nearly every item his company manufactured.......except the hippo hands.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery

Well I would agree Vetter produced a lot of one offs and limited items. I have owned various vetter products on early machines that are unreocgnizeable to his well known mainstream stuff. I've never owned a mystery ship but I've owned rooster fairings and jackets. But your probably correct.........claiming nearly everything is a tall order.
