buying from china is hit or miss, quality can never be guaranteed.

additionally, this is a dress-up piece. people here are primarily interested in performance upgrades.

you are asking about a part for an obscure bike. have you tried a GN forum?

As the part is coming from overseas, it may fit it may not. Here in the states we got the GN for a couple of years in the 1980's. In the rest of the world there was a GN model until the late 1990's and then it became the TU model. Neither of which we got here in the states and few would have an idea of how it matches up with an 80's US market GN.

The auction gives you measurements, measure your bike along those critical areas and see if it will work for you.

Like most here.......I've seen many of these type of seats at bike gatherings and such. I haven't seen one that wasn't done very well. For the price it's hard to beat. Although it's from China many are manufactured in Thailand. I've purchased many seat cover, replicas and such and most were spot on. The only thing I've found is very few times the color was a tick off. Otherwise they were fine and since yours is black no matching colors are a concern.

The one you listed is universal so keep in mind that seat bumpers, rubbers and mount locations might need to be altered by you. Otherwise it's very hard to beat the price.

Since its a GN400 cafe dress up no harm no foul.

    Good luck.

clarification: dress up in regards to replacing the stock seat with it

I say you just buy it and if it don't fit then weld a bead to make it fit or just take the whole thing to a hardware store and get a bunch of stuff to make it fit. It looks alright if you ask me and not all stuff from China is trash or half of the bikes on this website wouldn't even run LOL .

I too kinda have a seat issue with a bike. But it has way more important stuff to do first then for me to worry about a seat issue. My advise is get that little Debbie running well and Hopped up at that and all then worry about seat issues.
