Pretty cool testament to how badass the kz650 was when it came out, and still is today. Never really could get a clear view of if they installed rearsets with those clubmans. They certainly had 'em on "The Rabbit". In a couple shots of the riding, i thought the riders body position looked like rearsets.

Think that I have somewhere a jpg copy of a printed edition of this event. If so I'm going to post it here.

The inside history, nothing says about rearsets, however there is a picture in page 3 and foot pegs look a bit higher than stock... Not A+ quality but you can syill read.

Kawasaki did the same test with the Z1 900 and also broke a few records...

More than a few, they broke 52 records in an endurance test in 72-73, including the existing 24hr record by 19mph. The sad part is that Z1 900 record was 8mph slower than the KZ650 at 109mph compared to the 117mph the KZ did it in.

I carry a gun because I'm too young to die, too old to take an ass whooping, and a cop is too heavy.
