    how to weigh your bike?

Anyone know the easiest way to do this? How about weighing the weight on the front tire and the rear tire separatly? Do you simply just flop the front tire on a scale and vice versa? Is 50/50 a good goal to shoot for? thanks

go to a truck scale and ask them to weigh it with out you on it...
usually found at brickyards or gravel yards...
Might cost ya if they are jags... may $10....

scrap metal yards do it the same way. put the bike in the truck, weigh it, pull the bike out, weigh the truck. the differeence is it. just dont leave the bike at the yard. in the building i used to live in we had floor scales for freight. a bike fit perfectly on them. or if you get to the speedway, the "scales garage" has just that. a digital scale for weighing cars.

I took my RD400 down to the local truck stop and got alittle fresh with the girl behind the desk. She let me run it across the scale for free. See what alittle flirting can get you?

If you're set on using a scale, the 50/50 way, instead, put it on its center stand and do it. And if there's no center stand, put it on a cement block and subtract the weight of the block after.
Careful you don't crush the scale.
