    Put my bike back together

Well hello again everybody. I have not been on in a while due to tearing my bike (81 Yamaha xs400) apart over the winter in hopes of "rebuiling" it. After having no time to do so I decided to throw it back together just so I could ride it around the neighborhood, and also teach my buddy the basics of riding.
I am still trying to figure out and correct everything the last couple owners of my bike did. Wrong tires, bad wiring, wrong or bad fitting parts, and or broken bits even simple things like one front tube that he put on backwards so fender holes are on the outside. Plus good parts are getting harder and harder to find.
I have alot of work to do before I can get this thing legal but its still a blast to ride round the hood, which is a closed private neighborhood.
I did take my buddy out and he picked right up on riding. He had never ridin a street bike only a dirt bike MANY years ago. He enjoyed it so much that he just bought a matching bike.
Well if you want to check out any pictures go to my myspace page, and there are a couple on the third picture page. But be nice cause it is a work in progress and I know there is stuff wrong with it. :-)

And as always if anybody knows of good cafe parts for yamahas please shoot me a link.
    cheers

Fun and fustration seem to be going hand and hand at this point on this bike. But if it was easy, everyone would be doing it and it would be fun in the end
