I wonder how they auction off a motorcycle that has no title isn't that like buying something and you have no idea who really owns it?

Wow! I wonder if they all have reserves or not?
I am unfamiliar with a lot of the 60's motorcycles. But that Yamaha Yr1 on the first page looks tasty!

Up here we have this thing called an unfit vehicle certificate, it's an ownership that buys you nothing but at least you know who owns the bike. Can't understand anyone being able to sell a motor vehicle without one considering a title search and used vehicle information package is required before being able to plate it.

No idea how they do it in the USA, possibly they just don't care to curb theft and uncontrolled private sales of motor vehicles.

I can help you out with spare pistons, rings, gaskets, and a few seals. crankcases.. gearset.. ?

I'd like the motor out of that 350 Sprint, but the gap between the cylinder base and the cases, suggest bad things and it was just stuffed back on for the sale.

In Georgia, motorcycles before... uhh... wanna say 1986 didn't require titles. I registered my '73 Thursday - with only a hand-written note from the seller and my driver's license.
