I know a kilt is not the same as a skirt. The Lovely Sue says what makes the difference between a kilt & a skirt is what one has on beneath it. When you know that, it's extra scary letting a scot in a kilt around your children (only one of those is mine). I can confirm that I (standing to catboy's right) am indeed wearing a kilt. Catboy makes the same claim, but I refused to verify it, so you'll just have to take his word for it.
