Sounds like good plans.

I got $3000 for it, which was good money for an old bike during the winter. I am now mostly done building a hot rod 1969 CB750, and I have my eye on a high-pipes '71 DOHC CL450...
I was very happy with the $$ from the sale, but very sad to part with a super cool bike.
LOL. The CB750 will be a 2-up rider for the Mrs and I, and that really makes both of us happy. I can't tell you how much I miss having my girl with me on my scooter. If I get the CL I will cafe it out like an old solo racer.
Peace and grease
Congrats Fang. Your buyer got a great bike.
I know what you mean too, 'bout bringing your lady with ya. Haven't done that in years, but when my kids were of an age they'd jump at the chance to go for a ride w/dad. Now they have their own bikes, so it's a different story. My wife gave up riding with me shortly after she became pregnant with the first.
haven't made up my mind as to whether it's good or bad but my wife goes full panic on the back of a bike so i go solo all the time. except for the few occasions when my son (8) wants to come along. that makes her go full panic too.
ps back on thread...must be sad to sell a bike you put your heart into (it shows). lucky new owner...hope he/she appreciates the rig. the only bikes i've sold have been hondas. all my tacos are still in house.
I\'m not handsome
