I'm trying to be happy for you but all I got yesterday was one of my old R90/6's dumped off in front of my shop

    dead and starting to stink

trans blown up and I had to ask five or six times why it was taken apart so far just to unplug the tranny

brotha forgot to bring the back wheel so it arrived propped up on it's Luftmeister can

it is Sunday so I'm trying not to covet your sexy yellow ride

is that an LE or does it just have the Kenny Roberts tribute paintwork?

Not an LE, just the 50th anniversary. There is a smoking RD here in town with a Roberts paintjob. Maybe oneday I can build my R1 a little brother

Awesome bike,I love the R1 and R6 models. Couple of guys I ride with have them and love them and my niece has a 2005 R6(my favorite year for the R6.) Still some of the best looking SS and liter bikes going as well.

my buddy has a 2005 r1 that he lets me ride on occasion. I really like the bike to the point when the 50th anniversary bikes came out I seriously considered one (I really wanted an LE but the dealers round here had them marked up to $20K).

In the end I am happy I bought my ducati...but if one of those anniversary bikes ever came my way cheap I would be seriously tempted.
