    Unga,

When I brought it back from Steve D'angelo's house my wife said I ought to look into sponsorship from McDonalds.

In my experience piston weigh is the limiting factor in rod survivability.
Wiseco are pretty heavy, even compared to stock cast pistons.
Any lighter pistons allow rods to survive at higher rpm. ( but of course, you may have piston issues instead-its always a trade off)

my stock 1968 CL350 will top out at about 75... and that's running at half ideal compression on both pistons.

it doesn't like to be at high speeds very much with that kind of low compression....

Don't take this wrong, but did you have the throttle open when you took the compression readings? Cuz I'd be pretty surprised if the bike would hit 75 with half the compression of a "normal" 350.

Dunno about that. Last race my little tre-fiddy was acting poorly so after two back to back races we did a compression test.... 50 psi on one cyl. HA! Who knew they could even run that low. Funnier part is I didn't come in last. That would be 1/3 normal compression.

    I had a dyno run on CB360 today, around 87mph @ 9,000rpm in 5th, almost 100mph @ 10,500rpm and about 112 in sixth @ 10,500rpm
Doesn't take into account wind resistance though (or clutch slip)
