Moto Guzzi has always been one of those quirky companies who just don't give a damn and are always on the verge of going under but never do . Screw it . They're loss. Chances are is that they couldn't price it up with the Triumph Bonneville and the with Ducati's less than steller sales with the Sport Classics ( Which boggles my mine why they didn't really sell like crazy ) they probably assume it won't do too hot .
If they call a sheep a ram.
    And a donkey an ass.
Why do they call a ram in the ass a goose?

It's not 'Us' Geets.....it's all you baby!

I was always disappointed with how the Sport Classics look. The Sport has a fat ass, and the GT.... the tail is SO high over the rear tire. The Sport Classic I could live with. the GT... no thanks. (But then, I've got a roundcase GT to ride so I may be biased)

The Guzzi looks much better to me in that picture. Aside from the color. I'm not wild about that color - but I own a spray gun!

First off Let me correct you: Sport classic refers to the line of bikes, not one individual bike, and they are ducati's replacement to the supersport line of bikes. The Paulsmart, Sport1000, GT1000 and Sport1000S are all "sport classics"

Say what you want about the rear, I own a sport 1000 and I can't see that rear looking any other way on that bike, the skinny sport 750 replica tails they sell look out of place and ugly:

I will agree that the GT has a dirt bike look in the rear but it is a modern bike but it was the only way to get the bike to look the way it does with the handeling you expect out of a ducati.

My only complaint out of the V7 classic and cafe is that ITS 49 FREAKIN HORSEPOWER!!!!!!!!

and I like the matte avacado color - it is different. I think black bikes are cliche'. They do sell the V7 in a white with blue and red stripe a la 1975 norton color scheme which is pretty nice.
