    I ran on a knobby'ed TL1000R. Awesome ride, but you don't need that kind of power and weight. When it comes to real trail riding I could walk circles around the TL, and that R1, with a stock CR250R. Wouldn't sound near as awesome, but still.

    yeah I think you missed the point. We seldom settle for what we need - overkill is fun!!! and there is no such thing as too much power - only too little traction

    I'm feeling it . If they can do it to a Ducati Monster they can certainly do it to an R1 .[}]
