- Motorcycle addict and enthusiast.
Don't matter if its a Briggs and Stratton powered mini-bike, or a or full custom retro chopper, any make model or year, if its running they all are cool.
Been riding religiously since 1983. On the side I do vintage (Pre1984) bike repair for others out of my home shop, ElkCreek Customs.
I currently have 5 bikes.:
A 1972 Honda CB750 Rat-Café ( My True Love),
a 1980 Yamaha XS650 Special II all original with Custom Flat track bars,
a 1981 Harley Davidson FLH80 Classic Bobber,
a 1982 Honda GL1100 Hondaline Full Dress
and a 1982 Honda CB750 Custom which is actually the wifes as my Dad gave it to her years ago. She rides too.
I do all my own work with the exception of bottom end flywheel work as I don't have the jigs and fixturing and cant justify the cost.
I enjoy building bikes from the ground up and doing my own frame work and fabrication. I have owned Triumph's BSA's, Hondas, Yamahas, Suzuki's, and Harleys. Ranging from 1942 through 1989
Aside from the nasty work that had to be done in the late 1700's here in The United States of America, I Love everything about England (except her gun control Laws, Hey, Im an American) and Her history. And I day dream about those O' Boys who put the Café Racer on the map. The way they dressed, talked, looked and rode. The music they rocked and the ladies they chased.
