Car tranny sounds like a good plan, solves the big hurdles. Ideally you could let out the clutch when it's loaded and walk along beside it, a bull low gear. If it will haul a reasonable load at...

Thanks for the tip, the carbs are off now. I pulled the manifolds to make it easier to manipulate the cars off since I missed your advice. Figured I should replace the O rings while I'm in there. ...

Yea so I rode to work today and it's way too loud. I ordered 24" of 3" diameter baffle tube that I'll cut down and weld up to the original endcap (after cutting off the old baffles and enlarging the...

So I live on a busy country road where the speed limit is 45mph (but people generally drive 60). There's no shoulder either. My neighbor has replaced his mailbox three times due to people...

First attempt at bung practice. Not pretty, but didn't blow any holes in anything. A rotary welding table is on my wish list. 96737

I would vote yes for oxy acetylene, but the tanks are a bit of a PITA . Rental fees, certification, transporting acetylene etc. Having them large enough to be worthwhile would make schlepping them...
