    Sadly this applies to a large proportion of new riders, and accounts for why our motorcycle liability insurance is so astronomically high.

    I have some sense. I did after all get a ghetto rigged motorized bicycle up to 30 mph. I also know that endo's aren't any fun.

    Do any of your relatives ride bikes?

    Dirt bikes are fine but the roads a dangerous place.

    A couple of my uncles ride, and my dad used to. My dad says enduros are dangerous on the road because the center of balance is higher. Is that true?

    NO. It makes them more nimble. Plus you sit higher making you more visible, and your vision is better. They just suck on the freeway because they typically aren't geared for over 65 mph. ...at least the 450cc and below ones
